Elasticity
People Principles

Be Elastic – In an evolving media world, flexibility and our willingness to adapt is the key to success. We cannot fear change nor bury our heads in the sand when it comes. Media changes, hairstyles change, the means through which we reach an audience changes, clients change their perspectives, and we must always change.

You Come First – Every individual’s satisfaction is at the core of our success. If we are not happy, we’re probably not focused and therefore cannot provide smart counsel or good service.

We’re All Equals – We treat our peers, our bosses, clients, bathroom attendants, waiters and others the way we wish to be treated.

Laugh – Humor is important and keeps the brain tickin’ and healthy.

Keep It Real – Don’t do something for the sake of doing it or because we think it’s what someone wants to hear. Be honest with yourself, colleagues, and clients about the value proposition of any action or inaction.

Work Smart – Working 70 hours in a week and sitting in a designated cube or office doesn’t mean you are doing good work. It’s not the length or locale, it’s the substance.

Different Is Good – It’s a cluttered media landscape. Same-old blends right in while different breaks through clutter. And more often than not, that’s what we get paid to do.

Mistakes Happen – If you’re not making mistakes you’re not trying, as long as they’re not the same ones every time.

Dance – As often as you can. It keeps the joints loose and the spirit saucy.

Not The People’s Court - There’s two sides to every story and the truth often lies somewhere in between. Before you make up your mind about a person or issue, understand the entire picture.

Endings Happen – People and clients come and go. That’s cool. No hard feelings, no bitter departures, no throwing you out of the building without explanation.  Let’s just enjoy the ride while we’re on it together.
