The Fine Print
Carmen Sokol started on the paid search team at Elasticity in April of 2016. She has developed and managed search marketing, paid social, remarketing, and YouTube campaigns for SMBs to nationally recognized brands such as Energizer, Schick, Playtex, Paramount, Hill’s Pet Food, and Michelin. Prior to joining Elasticity, Carmen was a search manager at GroupM, the world’s largest digital investment and media buying agency.
One of Carmen’s favorite aspects of digital advertising is the story that each and every online action tells about the consumer’s journey and that it is entirely measurable. She is a true tech junkie and loves reading Mashable and Engadget to learn about the newest IoT devices, tech trends or social media news. Carmen loves to stay on top of the latest search industry trends and reads Search Engine Land and Search Engine Watch on the daily.
As you could guess, with a name like Carmen (but maybe not from her picture) she is Hispanic and is bi-lingual in Spanish. She has a bachelor’s degree in marketing with a minor in Spanish from Missouri State University and is Google AdWords and Bing Ad Center certified.
A little bit more about Carmen: she loves the 90’s, both brewing and tasting new beers, and hanging out with her husband and 2 rescue dogs.
