The Fine Print
A 25-year veteran of the marketing world who keenly understands leveraging data and insights to create operating procedures that help organizations drive growth, Doug has worked with some of the world’s influential brands – AT&T, Coca Cola, Budweiser, VISA, Adidas, Energizer, Hallmark Cards and the St. Louis Cardinals. At the same time, he’s found opportunity to partner with a broad group of unique stakeholders ranging from Disney cartoon characters to the Mexican National Soccer team, blue-haired ornament collectors to global OEMs, ski bums to the U.S. Olympic Diving Team. He can even call Pope John Paul and the Rolling Stones past clients.
With a deep understanding of branding and corporate identity – particularly important when it comes to strategically integrating marketing content across multi-unit business operations – Doug’s work has including channel-specific marketing, concert sponsorship management, in-market retail activation and consumer testing research.
Activating hundreds of retail locations in multiple states? No problem. Internal employee communications? Done that. Trade incentive programs for broker-dealer networks? Check. Retail promotion execution and sponsorship activation? Yep.
Outside of his professional duties, Doug has helped non-profits like the Epilepsy Foundation of Missouri and Kansas and Strassenfest Corporation as a board member – raising funds for needy causes. He’s a Mizzou grad with a degree in Rugby. Doug has two children, Kalie (15) and Drew (18) with his wife of 23 years, Lorrie.
