Regional Arts Commission Campaign wins Best of Marketing Award


Last month, we took home an award for “Best Overall Campaign” at the Arts and Education Council of Greater St. Louis 2015 Best Of Marketing Awards for our work with the Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis’ (RAC) STL Arts app campaign. We share this award, together with the RAC and the local development shop Integrity (who created the app).

RAC’s STL Arts app is the most comprehensive source of arts and culture event information in the region. The resource connects users to fashion, visual art, theater, dance and a wide variety of other arts and culture events in St. Louis in one, easy-to-use app.

We have had a lot of fun working on this campaign, which integrated a paid media program, a guerilla event strategy, a targeted public relations program and social media, all of which were designed to reach the young, influential artistic community in the St. Louis region.

And the fun paid off! On average, app downloads exceeded the monthly download goal by more than 40 percent. Our average digital media click-through-rate was more than six times the industry average. Finally, we increased brand awareness and reputation by nearly doubling the organization’s social media following in course of five months and by serving direct campaign messaging to a wider, more engaged audience.
