On the heels of being named one of the fastest growing companies in St. Louis, digital marketing and public relations firm Elasticity today announced it has acquired Digital Mothership, an industry-leading provider of software engineering and digital development led by the former executive team of digital development firm Agent X.
Digital Mothership (TheDigitalMothership.com) will operate as a subsidiary company and be led by former Publicis Groupe executive Derek Stagner, who has 20 years of experience leading agencies and managing complex global and national digital and experiential marketing campaigns for brands including CareerBuilder.com, Amway, the U.S. Army, AT&T, Charter Communications, Coca-Cola, the National Basketball Association (NBA), Anheuser-Busch, Kellogg’s, and others.
“We’re excited to grow alongside Derek and the Digital Mothership team,” said Brian Cross, founding partner of Elasticity (GoElastic.com). “We’ve continued to see demand for development work rise dramatically and Digital Mothership’s expertise in engineering innovative web platforms and mobile applications will greatly strengthen our client offerings and integrate well into the programs we execute on behalf of our clients.”
Digital Mothership’s leadership team includes Stagner, along with veteran digital manager David Vislosky, who moves from a digital strategist and management role in Elasticity to Digital Mothership; and veteran digital strategist and project manager A.J. Fontana, formerly part of Agent X with Stagner.
“Our expertise builds upon Elasticity’s offerings very nicely,” said Stagner, “Elasticity is known for innovative ideas and cross-channel marketing that breaks through the clutter. With Digital Mothership, we’ll now be better positioned to bring those visions to life across digital mediums through user-centric experiences that enable our clients to stand out from their competitors.”
