Vine launched new features in an effort to fight back against Instagram’s new video feature. The new Vine features including new camera tools (grid, focus, etc.), community channels to encourage exploration of new content, revining and the ability to protect your posts from public consumption.
Taking a page from Facebook and Twitter, LinkedIn unveiled sponsored updates – a new advertising option that allows companies to pay to reach more people with their content. The new ad unit is billed on a CPC basis only, meaning companies can receive likes, comments and shares without paying extra for those social interactions.
